The Forbidden City
Forbidden City was constructed by third Ming emperor, Yongle, locating in the middle of Bejing, China; it is now known as the Palace Museum. The city is surrounded by 10m high walls and 52m wide moat and covering 720,000 meters. There are 70 halls and palaces, totaling 9,999 rooms consist of the palace which spans from north-south axis. The recommended time for the tour is 3 hours. Nobody can miss this once in a life time experience to see one of the biggest city in the world.
Great Wall of China
Great wall of China is built from series of stones to protect the northern norders of Chinese empire against intruders. The wall stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east with an arc passing through southern edge of Inner Mongolia to Lop Nur in the west. From an archaeological survey, using advanced technology, it is concluded that the Great Wall of China stretches 8,850 km (5,500 mi). It is an magnificent site that everyone must see. Peking Duck
When you are in Beijing, you cannot miss one of the mot famous dish, Peking Duck or Peking Roast Duck. It is one of the famous dish from Beijing and is now considered as one of China's national food. The dish is prized for the thin, crispy skin, with authentic versions of the dish serving mostly the skin and little meat. The meat is eaten with pancakes, spring onions, and hoisin sauce or sweet bean sauce. The two most famous restaurant in Beijing are Quanjude and Bianyifang. Before going to eat at the two famous restaurants, make reservations to ensure that you will not have to waste your trip there.
